For the past 30 years we’ve worked closely with SME’s founder, Alistair Aikman, establishing Unique Audio as the premier supplier of SME tonearms globally. SME tonearms are precision instruments and each one is unique in its sonic merits. At Unique Audio we have sufficient stock that we can compare SME tonearms across all the different models and between different examples of the same type to find exactly the right arm for any system. Our knowledge of SME tonearms is unsurpassed from vintage to modern designs.

We are the only UK dealer specialising in preowned SME tonearms. Here at Unique Audio, we have a vast range of pre-owned and new old-stock SME tonearms from vintage to modern – including very rare bespoke examples. Practically all models can be supplied. We operate a very stringent process before offering any tonearm for sale, and will not supply one unless it is carefully inspected and listened to. We only offer the finest examples available.

Unique Audio can also supply SME turntables (we were one of the earliest UK dealers to have the SME Model 30 on demonstration, almost immediately after its launch). We often have a selection of examples in stock, including some featuring bespoke gold plating.
