LFD is an English company specialising in the highest-quality hand-made cables, amplifiers, racks and isolation platforms.
LFD is the brainchild of design guru Dr Richard Bews, a graduate from the esteemed Essex University audio department. Since LFD’s opening in 1987, Dr Bews has been assisted by Professor Malcolm Halksford.
LFD carefully selects each and every component in all its products, painstakingly choosing items for ultimate performance. Each resistor, capacitor, semiconductor, wire and cable is selected to obtain the finest results.
LFD's research into the sonic and musical qualities of components has led to the production of an unrivaled and unique range of cables, as used internally in the company’s amplification products, all hand-constructed using selected conductors.
